Easy Lay midi dense concrete blocks
Easy Lay midi blocks are durable and high-strength blocks with excellent sound reduction performance.
They are shorter in height than a 440 x 215 mm solid dense block (440mm x 140mm x 140mm) and designed to be lighter and easier to handle than a full-sized block. Easy Lay dense blocks can be laid above or below the DPC (DS1/DS/2/DS3) and are the perfect solution for all types of construction, be it commercial, industrial, or agricultural. This product is sold low carbon as standard - up to a 50% carbon reduction compared with using OPC (Ordinary Portland Cement).

Easy Lay – easier to handle
Easy Lay blocks typically weigh a third less than their full-sized solid dense block equivalents. Weighing 17.1 kgs compared to 25.5 kgs per block means less physical strain on workers. With their lighter weight but no compromise on performance they are appreciated by the installation team.

Same performance as a full sized solid dense block but easier on the back
Easy Lay dense blocks can be laid above or below the DPC and are the perfect solution for all types of construction be it commercial, industrial or agricultural.
They are used in boundary and party walls, load-bearing walls, partition walls and panel walls.
Easy Lay solid dense blocks are paint grade and will accept most paint applications but blocks should be allowed to dry with all dirt, dust and efflorescence being removed before the application of any final finish.
CCP recommend that due to natural variations in aggregates, projects should source material from the same CCP site to ensure as far as is reasonably practicable the continuity of the textural finish and hue.
Available as low carbon as standard – for no extra cost
Easy Lay is sold low carbon as standard with up to a 50% carbon reduction compared with using OPC (Ordinary Portland Cement). Good for the planet and good for the installer with higher grade environmental options also available.
