Helping young people take their first steps in developing a career within our industry has been a priority for us and we’ve been offering apprenticeships for several years. At the moment, we have three apprentices, and we have been really pleased to see them grow in confidence, as individuals, and to see how they have benefitted our business.

Ellie Booth completed her Business Administration Apprenticeship in December and has secured a place on an AAT Level 2 Apprenticeship starting September 2024. She is currently supporting our financial controller with business reporting within CCP.

Catrin Burgess has also finished her Apprenticeship – Level 3 Customer Service Diploma. She is now in the role of Quarry Sales Assistant.

Anthony Guest is due to finish his NVQ Level 2 in business improvement techniques apprenticeship at the end of this month.

Commenting on the success of the apprenticeship programme, Jackie Bickers, our HR Coordinator, said ”It has been really encouraging to see how our apprentices have taken to their new roles, whilst at the same time learning skills that will really benefit CCP. Some have completed their training and have gone on to become part of the team in a new role, and others have looked to take on additional training. We’re really pleased with the success of the apprenticeship programs and see them as a win-win for both the apprentices and for us as a business.”

We are always keen to hear from enthusiastic people who are looking for a career in our industry. If you are interested in our apprenticeship opportunities, please contact us at ccp@ccp.ltd to find out when the next available openings will be.
