CCP shortlisted for North West awards

Here at CCP Building Products we are delighted to announce we have been shortlisted in the ‘Investment’ and ‘Medium Business’ categories in this year’s North West Business Masters Awards hosted by The Business Desk.

We originally began trading as ‘Cheshire Concrete Products Ltd’ in 2006, following a management buyout of a concrete block plant in Middlewich, Cheshire, by the two current owners of the company. Today, we continue to operate this block plant along-side our additional 3 sites and are proud to have seen an increase from just 9 employees in 2006 to 55 in 2018. Our ongoing business development plan focuses on providing a high-quality product combined with “best in class” service, while we continue to grow our product portfolio in the construction material supply chain. Now named ‘CCP Building Products’ we have grown to be a leading independent manufacturer, serving the North West of England and North Wales with a range of building materials, including: precast aggregate blocks, foundation blocks, concrete engineering bricks, paving flags and limestone aggregates.

The dedication of the management team and many longstanding employees is perhaps one of CCP’s biggest successes and has in turn resulted in the fast growth outlined above. Following our achievement in being named as a finalist for the ‘Business of the Year 2017’ award by West Cheshire and North Wales Chamber of Commerce, we also made the London Stock Exchanges List of “1000 Companies to Inspire” in 2017, both of which being a great honour for all involved. We thank all employees for their commitment to CCP and see the nomination for the Business Masters Awards as a testament to their hard work over the last 12 years.
